Exclusive Shopping
1. What are Exclusive Shopping Visits?
One of our Sales Consultants will come to your house to showcase our products and answer your questions. There are two types of Exclusive Shopping Visits:
a) Personal Shopping: This is a unique way to see, feel and tests our products. Our Sales Consultant will showcase our products and answer questions for you and 2 – 4 of your friends. This informal visit will last approximately 1 hour and it allows you and your friends to ask questions and discuss product details. The host will receive discounts for their efforts based on guest sales.
b) Shop and Socialize: Invite your friends and family over for an evening or afternoon out of socializing and shopping. One of our Sales Consultants will come to your house and set up a display of our products. The Sales Consultant will do a brief presentation and allow time for guests to see and test products and ask questions. Hosts receive generous benefits for their efforts. The benefits are based on guest sales at the party.
c) Open House: If you are having trouble getting your friends and family together at the same time, have an open house where guests can drop in at a time that works best for them. Open houses work great for mommy groups and guests with busy schedules.
2. How do I schedule an Exclusive Shopping visit?
You can contact a Sales Consultant directly or use our website contact information to book a visit. Available times will depend on the Consultant’s schedule and the best time for your friends and family to attend. Once a date and time is determined all you will need to do is invite your friends and family. Your Sales Consultant would be more than happy to discuss further details through email or phone calls.
3. Will I be able to take my purchases home with me from the Exclusive Shopping Visit?
Sales Consultant’s do carry some of our products with them for guests to go home with. If you require your products right away arrangements can be made. All of the other orders will be filled and delivered to the Host’s house (unless other arrangements have been made) within 1 week of the party.
4. Are there shipping costs?
Beginning January 1, 2010 shipping costs will be added to individual orders at parties at a charge of $3.00 – 5.00 per order and they will be delivered to the host’s house within 1 week of the party unless otherwise indicated. If the products are required before 1 week other applicable service charges will be added. Orders through the website, email or phone will have shipping charges added corresponding to the dollar amount of the order. Please refer to shipping information for further details.
5. How does a Baby Shower work?
There are many different ways to have a Connect Baby Shower. The Sales Consultant will work with the Host to provide an appropriate Baby Shower for the new parents. Following are some suggestions for a Connect Baby Shower:
a) Wish List -The Guest(s) of Honour receives a wish list that they can indicate products that they would like to have for the new addition to their family. Guests can then choose products to purchase from the list to give as gifts. Easy shopping for guests and the New/Expectant parents receive products that they love.
b) Shopping Spree – The guests put together a cash gift or gift certificate for the New/Expectant parents to use toward products. Great way to make shopping easy for the New/Expectant parents.
c) Pre Register – The New/Expectant parents can pre-register with Connect. A Sales Consultant will bring demo product to the New/Expectant parent’s home and they can then indicate the products that they would like to put on their Baby Shower registry. Friends and family can visit the Connect website to choose gifts for the Baby Shower. A Connect representative will bring the gifts directly to the Baby Shower with the option to have the gifts pre-wrapped. Great way to shop when you know that the Guest(s) of Honour will love the gifts that they receive.
